Refined Hedonism for Dummies

...alright, not actually for "dummies", but I am looking for a couple of very general, introductory books to include on a reading list that I am preparing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A Rebours - Joris Karl Huysmans

Endangered Pleasures: In Defense of Naps, Bacon, Martinis, Profanity, and Other Indulgences - Barbara Holland

And get a good volume of writings by Epicurus (not Epictetus)
I went on amazon to look up the Barbara Holland book, and it looked so enticing I bought it on the spot. Thanks for the suggestion! ;-)
The Satyricon
For the ladies: Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts. The whole book is about, basically, getting that good ol' American Protestant brainwashing most of us were raised under out of our heads and pleasure, pleasure and more pleasure in!

The Hedonism Handbook is a sort of silly suggestion, really more "for dummies" but it's a quick, humorous read. Great for settling down with on your favorite sofa, sipping something delicious.
Any particular kind of hedonism?

Walter Pater, The Renaissance.

Pater: "I hate it when people call me a hedonist. It produces such an unpleasant impression in the minds of people who don't know Greek."

Thanks for responses. Some, I had considered; and some, I had not.
